Practice Disputes / Facilitation

- We recommend you contacting you LMC for advice in relation to practice disputes or performance issue.

- Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire LMC have a dedicated number of experienced advisors, who are mostly retired GPs, available and trained to provide personal and confidential support to any local GP undergoing any kind of personal difficulty or crisis.

Pastoral advisors may offer telephone advice, but will also be happy to meet with the doctor needing help, and where appropriate, others concerned about their welfare. Their objective is to help the doctor in question get through the crisis. They will provide confidential advice, interceding where appropriate, with other agencies on the doctor’s behalf, or signposting them to other sources of help and advice. To access more details of the Pastoral Network please contact Nottinghamshire LMC on 0115 977 1341 or Derbyshire LMC on 01332 210 008

– Facilitation – please ask our administrators who will forward you a list of facilitators who have agreed to be referred clients by GP-S. This service will incur a charge to be agreed between the client and the trainers.
