Half day refresher training for mentors and coaches

This half day interactive training course is suitable for established mentors and coaches who are using either the Egan or TGROW models and are looking for a review of their practice with a chance to stretch their skills using these models.

What is included in the course?

Pre course

The course includes three hours of pre-course work for each delegate. This will include providing resources for delegates to determine their learning styles, access to two audio presentations led by GP-S trainers providing an overview of mentoring and coaching and access to a number of video simulations of the model of mentoring in action.

On the day

The session can be held virtually or in person. It will be highly interactive. Delegates will be able to explore some of the opportunities and challenges of working with clients through a supervision-style session. There will be opportunities to practice skills in a supportive learning environment with observed practice and developmental feedback.

After the course

All delegates will be given a certificate of attendance, this can be used towards CPD points.

Who can benefit from the training?

Great for a cohort of trained mentors or coaches looking for a supportive and stimulating environment to refresh and develop their skills.

For each course, we have a minimum delegate number of three and a maximum of 18, we recommend multiples of three where possible to support triad working.
